Not every photographer can do good sports photography. To make photos of good quality, large, not blurred, not dark, you need quite expensive equipment. The lens must be high-power and at least 135 mm. I use Canon 70-200 2.8 l. It is quite enough to catch very good shots in good magnification when you are out of the field, freeze the moment at a short shutter speed and avoid strong noise even with insufficient illumination.
Sports shooting also involves knowledge of the game itself. You need to predict where the match will be in a second, what will follow next, for example, a corner kick, in order to take the best possible position and make a good shot. I have accumulated a huge portfolio of sports shooting, mainly football, so I can say for sure that a special approach is needed here.
